Either way, a mirror full of prints from greasy fingers doesn’t look fresh. Fortunately, there is a great hack to wipe away the fingerprints ánd prevent them.
Cleaning
We all know the bottles of mirror and glass cleaner. Quick and effective when it comes to stains on your mirror. But what if there was a remedy that also prevents new stains from appearing? We have good news, because it exists! You don’t have to buy an expensive special spray for it, because you can make the mixture all by yourself. Chances are you can just find all the ingredients already in your kitchen cupboard.
Homemade spray
On Instagram, Esra shares her golden tip with the world. Wiping your mirror with this mixture will make greasy fingerprints a thing of the past in no time. Just dive into your kitchen cabinets and look for gloss rinse, vinegar and dish soap. You will also need an empty spray bottle.
Pour 100 to 150 milliliters of hot water into the empty bottle and mix it with one tablespoon of rinse aid, vinegar and dishwashing liquid. Shake well, and spray! Then rub your mirror thoroughly dry with a clean cloth. The greasy finger marks will be gone like snow in the sun. The spray leaves an invisible layer on the mirror that prevents your fingers from leaving an imprint. A win-win situation!
